Campus Chronotopes
The Centre for Memory Studies, IIT Madras is delighted to present “Campus Chronotopes” film, an immersive 360-degree VR journey taking viewers on a memory walk through the IIT Madras campus.
For the best experience, make sure the video is playing at the highest possible resolution (HD, 4K, or 8K) on your device by going to Video Settings (gear icon inside the video box) → Quality, and setting the quality to HD, 4K, or 8K, depending on your device and connection.
On Desktop:
• Open the video on your browser on this link: https://youtube.com/watch?v=ZGqD8BP5tEA.
• Set the video quality to 4320s (8K, available on the Chrome browser).
• To navigate, click anywhere on the video and drag to see a different perspective.
• The compass on the top left corner can also be used for navigation.
On Phone/Tablet:
• Open the video on the YouTube app by searching for “Campus Chronotopes”.
• Set the video quality to 1080s (HD).
• Move the device to look around the video.
• Alternatively, while the video is playing, you can tap and drag anywhere to pan.
On Headsets:
• Open the video on the Youtube VR app by searching for “Campus Chronotopes”.
• Set the video quality to 2160s (4K).
• Play the video and look around to get the immersive 360 experience.
